Vulture, by Journal Standard
Japanese lifestyle brand Journal Standard launched a new sub-brand “Vulture” aimed at males from their late 20s to mid-30s. Their goal for a Vulture website was informational and with low overhead, so instead of building or customizing a CMS which could require regular maintenance, we proposed a “mash-up” approach. By using APIs of popular photo and communication tools Flickr, Twitter, and a collection of web-cameras around the globe, Majides managed the development of a single web-page featuring Vulture products and reflecting the Vulture lifestyle.
The launched result is a single page which pulls photos and tweets posted by shop attendants with access to the specific accounts. Visitors can interact with the latest product information through the tools each respective service offers, effectively outsourcing maintenance overhead while maintaining rich experiences.
